BORISOV, Jun. 14, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Spain defeated Belarus by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Sunday night at the Borisov Arena.
All the action happened in the first half, with Spanish midfielder David Silva goal in the 45th minute.
The result put the Spaniard second in Group C with 15 points. Belarus is fourth with 4 points. In their next game, Spain will meet group leaders Slovakia at the Borisov Arena on September 5, while Belarus will face Ukraine.
