Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Ukraine beats Luxembourg 3-0
LVIV, Jun. 14, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Ukraine defeated Luxembourg by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Sunday night at the Arena Lviv.
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Kravets ('49), Harmash ('57) and Konoplyanka ('86).
The result put the Ukrainians third in Group C with 12 points. Luxembourg is bottom with one point. In their next game, Ukraine will meet Belarus at the Arena Lviv on September 5, while Luxembourg will face Macedonia.
