SKOPJE, Sep. 8, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Spain defeated Macedonia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night at the Philip II Arena in Skopje.
All the action happened in the first half, with Pačovski own goal in the 8th minute.
The result put the Spaniard top of Group C with 21 points. Macedonia is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Spain will meet Luxembourg at the Philip II Arena on October 9, while Macedonia will face Ukraine.
