LUXEMBOURG, Oct. 12, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Slovakia defeated Luxembourg by a score of 4-2 (halftime: 3-0), in a Euro qualifying game on Monday night at the Stade Josy Barthel in Luxembourg.
Marek Hamsik scored dual goals
Slovakia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Hamsik ('24), Nemec ('29) and Mak ('30). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Slovaks further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Hamsik in stoppage time.
Slovakia secured their ticket to the Euro finals. Luxembourg is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Group C
