GLASGOW, Oct. 11, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Scotland defeated Georgia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night at the Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow.
All the action happened in the first half, with Khubutia own goal in the 28th minute.
The result put the Scot fourth in Group D with 3 points. Georgia is 5th with no points. In their next game, Scotland will meet second-placed Poland at the Ibrox Stadium on October 14, while Georgia will face Gibraltar.
