Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Germany beats Gibraltar 4-0
NUREMBERG, Nov. 14, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Germany defeated Gibraltar by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Friday night at the Grundig Stadion in Nuremberg.
Thomas Müller scored dual goals
Germany dominated the first half thanks to goals from Müller ('12, '29) and Götze ('38). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Germans further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Santos into his own net in the 67th minute.
The result put the Germans third in Group D with 7 points. Gibraltar is bottom with no points. In their next game, Germany will meet Georgia at the Grundig Stadion on March 29, while Gibraltar will face Scotland.
