TBILISI, Mar. 29, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Germany defeated Georgia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Sunday night at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi.
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Marco Reus ('39) and Thomas Müller ('44).
The result put the Germans third in Group D with 10 points. Georgia is 5th with 3 points. In their next game, Germany will meet Gibraltar at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena on June 13, while Georgia will face Poland.
