WARSAW, Jun. 13, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Poland defeated Georgia by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night at the Stadion Narodowy in Warsaw.
Robert Lewandowski scored tripple goals
Both teams held off against each other during the first 45 minutes of the game. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with goals by Milik ('62) and Lewandowski ('89, '90, '90).
The result put the Pole top of Group D with 14 points. Georgia is 5th with 3 points. In their next game, Poland will meet third-placed Germany at the Stadion Narodowy on September 4, while Georgia will face Scotland.
