TBILISI, Sep. 4, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Georgia defeated Scotland by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Friday night at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi.
All the action happened in the first half, with Kazaishvili goal in the 38th minute.
The result put the Scot third in Group D with 11 points. Georgia is 5th with 6 points. In their next game, Scotland will meet second-placed Germany at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena on September 7, while Georgia will face Ireland.
