GLASGOW, Sep. 7, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Germany defeated Scotland by a score of 3-2 (halftime: 2-2), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Monday night at Hampden Park in Glasgow.

Thomas Müller scored dual goals

Two goals for both sides during the first half, Müller (18e, 34e) for Scotland, Hummels (28e own) and McArthur (43e) for Germany. After the break, Die Mannschaft settled the issue with another goal courtesy of player Gündoğan in the 54th minute.

The result put the Germans top of Group D with 19 points. Scotland is fourth with 11 points. In their next game, Germany will meet third-placed Ireland at Hampden Park on October 8, while Scotland will face Poland.
