Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Georgia beats Gibraltar 4-0
TBILISI, Oct. 8, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Georgia defeated Gibraltar by a big score of 4-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Thursday night at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena in Tbilisi.
Vatsadze scored dual goals
Georgia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Vatsadze ('30, '45) and Okriashvili ('35 on penalty). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Georgians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Kazaishvili with just 3 minutes remaining in regulation time.
The result put the Georgians 5th in Group D with 9 points. Gibraltar is bottom with no points. In their last game, Georgia will meet group leaders Germany at the Boris Paichadze Dinamo Arena on October 11, while Gibraltar will face Scotland.
