VILNIUS, Oct. 12, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Slovenia defeated Lithuania by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Sunday night at the LFF Stadium in Vilnius.
Milivoje Novakovič scored dual goals
All the action happened in the first half, with goals from Milivoje Novakovič ('33, '37).
The result put the Slovenians second in Group E with 6 points. Lithuania is third with 6 points. In their next game, Slovenia will meet group leaders England at the LFF Stadium on November 15, while Lithuania will face Switzerland.
