Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Estonia beats San Marino 2-0
TALLINN, Jun. 14, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Estonia defeated San Marino by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Sunday night at the A. Le Coq Arena in Tallinn.
Sergei Zenjov scored dual goals
Estonia dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Sergei Zenjov in the 35th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Estonians further widened their lead in the second period with another goal by Zenjov in the 63rd minute.
The result put the Estonians fourth in Group E with 7 points. San Marino is bottom with one point. In their next game, Estonia will meet Lithuania at the A. Le Coq Arena on September 5, while San Marino will face England.
