Euro 2016 Qualifiers : England beats San Marino 6-0
SERRAVALLE, Sep. 5, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : England defeated San Marino by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night at the San Marino Stadium in Serravalle.
Theo Walcott scored dual goals
England dominated the first half thanks to goals from Rooney ('13 on penalty) and Brolli ('30 own). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Englishs further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Barkley '46, Walcott '68, '78 and Kane '77).
The result put the English top of Group E with 21 points. San Marino is bottom with one point. In their next game, England will meet second-placed Switzerland at the San Marino Stadium on September 8, while San Marino will face Lithuania.
