MARIBOR, Sep. 8, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Slovenia defeated Estonia by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night at the Ljudski Vrt Stadium in Maribor.
45 minutes of play and neither the Slovenians nor the Estonians have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Berić in the 63rd minute.
The result put the Slovenians third in Group E with 12 points. Estonia is fourth with 10 points. In their next game, Slovenia will meet Lithuania at the Ljudski Vrt Stadium on October 9, while Estonia will face England.
