ATHENS, Sep. 7, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Romania defeated Greece by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Sunday night at the Karaiskakis Stadium in Athens.
All the action happened in the first half, with Marica goal on penalty in the 10th minute.
The result put the Romanians third in Group F with 3 points. In their next game, Romania will meet Hungary at the Karaiskakis Stadium on October 11, while Greece will face Finland.
