BUCHAREST, Oct. 8, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Romania tied 1-1 with Finland (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Thursday night at the National Arena in Bucharest.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Hoban ('90) for Romania, Pohjanpalo ('67) for Finland.
The result put the Romanians second in Group F with 17 points. Finland is fourth with 11 points. In their last game, Romania will meet the Faroe islands at the National Arena on October 11, while Finland will face Northern Ireland.
