TóRSHAVN, Oct. 11, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Romania defeated the Faroe islands by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a Euro qualifying game on Sunday night at the Torsvollur Stadium in Tórshavn.
Budescu scored dual goals
Romania dominated the first half thanks to goals from Budescu ('4, '45). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Romanians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Maxim with just 7 minutes remaining in regulation time.
