Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Northern Ireland held to a 1-1 draw by Finland but qualifies for 2016 Euro
BERLIN, Oct. 11, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Finland tied 1-1 with Northern Ireland (halftime: 0-1), in a Euro qualifying game on Sunday night at the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
The Irishs started off well by taking the lead thanks to Irish defender Craig Cathcart in the 31st minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, they could not prevent a comeback by Finland with a saving goal from Arajuuri in the 87th minute.
Northern Ireland secured their ticket to the Euro finals. Finland is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Group F
