VIENNA, Oct. 12, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Austria defeated Montenegro by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Sunday night at the Ernst Happel Stadium in Vienna.
All the action happened in the first half, with Austrian striker Rubin Okotie goal in the 24th minute.
The result put the Austrians top of Group G with 7 points. Montenegro is third with 4 points. In their next game, Austria will meet second-placed Russia at the Ernst Happel Stadium on November 15, while Montenegro will face Sweden.
