MOSCOW, Oct. 12, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Russia tied 1-1 with Moldova (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Sunday night at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Dzyuba ('73 on penalty) for Russia, Epureanu ('74) for Moldova.
The result put the Russians second in Group G with 5 points. Moldova is 5th with one point. In their next game, Russia will meet group leaders Austria at the Spartak Stadium on November 15, while Moldova will face Liechtenstein.
