Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Liechtenstein beats Moldova 1-0
CHISINAU, Nov. 15, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Liechtenstein defeated Moldova by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night at the Zimbru Stadium in Chisinau.
Moldova made the liechtensteiners doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Burgmeier in the 74th minute.
The result put the liechtensteiner 5th in Group G with 4 points. Moldova is bottom with one point. In their next game, Liechtenstein will meet group leaders Austria at the Zimbru Stadium on March 27, while Moldova will face Sweden.
