Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Austria beats Liechtenstein 5-0
VADUZ, Mar. 27, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Austria defeated Liechtenstein by a big score of 5-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Friday night at the Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz.
Austria dominated the first half thanks to goals from Harnik ('14) and Janko ('16). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Austrians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring three times (Alaba '59, Junuzović '74 and Arnautović '90).
The result put the Austrians top of Group G with 13 points. Liechtenstein is 5th with 4 points. In their next game, Austria will meet third-placed Russia at the Rheinpark Stadion on June 14, while Liechtenstein will face Moldova.
