MOSCOW, Sep. 5, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Russia defeated Sweden by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night at the Spartak Stadium in Moscow.
All the action happened in the first half, with Dzyuba goal in the 38th minute.
The result put the Swedish second in Group G with 12 points. Russia is third with 9 points. In their next game, Sweden will meet group leaders Austria at the Spartak Stadium on September 8, while Russia will face Liechtenstein.
