Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Russia beats Liechtenstein 7-0
VADUZ, Sep. 8, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Russia defeated Liechtenstein by a big score of 7-0 (halftime: 3-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night at the Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz.
Dzyuba served up another goal feast
Russia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Dzyuba ('21, '45) and Kokorin ('40 on penalty). Leading 3-0 at the break, the Russians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring four times (Dzyuba '73, '90, Smolov '77 and Dzagoev '85).
The result put the Russians second in Group G with 12 points. Liechtenstein is 5th with 5 points. In their next game, Russia will meet Moldova at the Rheinpark Stadion on October 9, while Liechtenstein will face Sweden.
