Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Sweden beats Liechtenstein 2-0
VADUZ, Oct. 9, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Sweden defeated Liechtenstein by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Friday night at the Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz.
Sweden dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Berg in the 18th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Swedishs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ibrahimovic in the 55th minute.
The result put the Swedish third in Group G with 15 points. Liechtenstein is 5th with 5 points. In their last game, Sweden will meet Moldova at the Rheinpark Stadion on October 12, while Liechtenstein will face Austria.
