Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Sweden beats Moldova 2-0 to qualify for next round
SOLNA, Oct. 12, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Sweden defeated Moldova by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro qualifying game on Monday night at the Friends Arena in Solna.
Sweden dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the 23rd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Swedishs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Zengin in the 47th minute.
Sweden advance to the next round of the ongoing UEFA Euro. Moldova is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Group G
