OSLO, Sep. 9, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Italy defeated Norway by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo.
Italy dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by forward Simone Zaza in the 16th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Italians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Bonucci in the 62nd minute.
The result put the Italians top of Group H with 3 points. In their next game, Italy will meet Azerbaijan at the Ullevaal Stadion on October 10, while Norway will face Malta.
