Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Croatia beats Azerbaijan 6-0
OSIJEK, Oct. 13, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Croatia defeated Azerbaijan by a big score of 6-0 (halftime: 4-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Monday night at the Gradski vrt Stadium in Osijek.
Ivan Perisic scored dual goals
Croatia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Kramarić ('11), Perisic ('34, '45) and Brozović ('45). Leading 4-0 at the break, the Croatians further widened their lead in the second period by scoring twice (Modrić '57/penalty and Sadygov '61/own).
The result put the Croatians top of Group H with 9 points. Azerbaijan is bottom with no points. In their next game, Croatia will meet second-placed Italy at the Gradski vrt Stadium on November 16, while Azerbaijan will face Norway.
