Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Norway defeats Bulgaria 2-1
OSLO, Oct. 13, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Norway defeated Bulgaria by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Monday night at the Ullevaal Stadion in Oslo.
Norvegian forward Tarik Elyounoussi opened the score in the 13th minute, before seeing Bulgaria catch up in the 43rd minute thanks to Nikolay Bodurov. 1-1 at half time. The Norvegians eventually won the game in the second period with with a goal by Nielsen in the 72nd minute.
The result put the Norvegians third in Group H with 6 points. Bulgaria is fourth with 3 points. In their next game, Norway will meet Azerbaijan at the Ullevaal Stadion on November 16, while Bulgaria will face Malta.
