Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Norway beats Bulgaria 1-0
SOFIA, Sep. 3, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Norway defeated Bulgaria by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Thursday night at the Vasil Levski National Stadium in Sofia.
Bulgaria made the Norvegians doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Forren in the 57th minute.
The result put the Norvegians third in Group H with 13 points. Bulgaria is fourth with 8 points. In their next game, Norway will meet group leaders Croatia at the Vasil Levski National Stadium on September 6, while Bulgaria will face Italy.
