Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Croatia defeats Bulgaria 3-0
ZAGREB, Oct. 10, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Croatia defeated Bulgaria by a score of 3-0 (halftime: 2-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night at the Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb.
Croatia dominated the first half thanks to goals from Perisic ('2) and Rakitić ('42). Leading 2-0 at the break, the Croatians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by N. Kalinić with just 9 minutes remaining in regulation time.
The result put the Croatians third in Group H with 18 points. Bulgaria is fourth with 8 points. In their last game, Croatia will meet Malta at the Maksimir Stadium on October 13, while Bulgaria will face Azerbaijan.
