Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Italy qualify for Euro, Norway face play-off
ROME, Oct. 13, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Italy defeated Norway by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 0-1), in a Euro qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Stadio Olimpico in Rome.
Norway had started off well by taking the lead in the 23rd minute with a goal by midfielder Alexander Tettey. Trailing 1-0 at half time, the Italians nonetheless manage to reverse the direction of the game by scoring twice in the second period (Florenzi '73 and Pellè '82).
Italy secured their ticket to the finals but Norway will have to go through the playoffs.Fixtures and Results : Group H
