Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Armenia hold Serbia to 1-1
YEREVAN, Oct. 11, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Armenia tied 1-1 with Serbia (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Saturday night at the Republican Stadium in Yerevan.
No goals in the first half and one each in the second, Arzumanyan ('73) for Armenia, Tošić ('89) for Serbia.
The result put the Serbians third in Group I with one point. Armenia is fourth with one point. In their next game, Serbia will meet second-placed Albania at the Republican Stadium on October 14, while Armenia will face Portugal.
