COPENHAGEN, Oct. 14, 2014 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Portugal defeated Denmark by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
Denmark made the Portugueses doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with a saving goal by Portuguese forward Cristiano Ronaldo in stoppage time.
The result put the Dane second in Group I with 4 points. Portugal is third with 3 points. In their next game, Denmark will meet Serbia at the Parken Stadium on November 14, while Portugal will face Armenia.
