ELBASAN, Oct. 8, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Serbia defeated Albania by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2016 UEFA European Championship on Thursday night at the Elbasan Arena.
Albania made the Serbians doubt themselves for forty-five minutes. 0-0 at half time. Everything was decided in the second period with goals by Kolarov ('90) and Ljajić ('90).
The result put the Albanians third in Group I with 9 points. Serbia is fourth with 8 points. In their last game, Albania will meet Armenia at the Elbasan Arena on October 11, while Serbia will face Portugal.
