Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Denmark loses to Portugal 1-0 but qualifies for next round
BRAGA, Oct. 8, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Portugal defeated Denmark by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Euro qualifying game on Thursday night at the Braga Municipal Stadium.
45 minutes of play and neither the Portugueses nor the Danes have managed to pull ahead. 0-0 at half time. Everything was settled in the second period with a saving goal by Portuguese midfielder João Moutinho in the 66th minute.
Denmark advance to the next round of the ongoing UEFA Euro.The result put the Portuguese top of Group I with 18 points. Denmark is second with 12 points. In their last game, Portugal will meet Serbia at the Braga Municipal Stadium on October 11.
