Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Portugal beats Serbia 2-1 to qualify for 2016 Euro
BELGRADE, Oct. 11, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Portugal defeated Serbia by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro qualifying game on Sunday night at the Partizan Stadium in Belgrade.
Portugal dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Nani in the 5th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Portugueses further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Moutinho in the 78th minute.
Portugal secured their ticket to the Euro finals. Serbia is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Group I
