Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Sweden beats Denmark 2-1

SOLNA, Nov. 14, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Sweden defeated Denmark by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a Euro qualifier tie on Saturday night at the Friends Arena in Solna.
Sweden dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by midfielder Emil Forsberg in the 45th minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Swedishs further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Ibrahimovic on penalty in the 50th minute.
The second leg between Sweden and Denmark will be played on Tuesday November 17, 2015 (kick-off: 20:45) in Copenhagen.
