Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Ukraine beats Slovenia 2-0
LVIV, Nov. 14, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Ukraine defeated Slovenia by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in the first leg of a Euro qualifier tie on Saturday night at the Arena Lviv.
Ukraine dominated the first half thanks to a goal scored by Yarmolenko in the 22nd minute. Leading 1-0 at the break, the Ukrainians further widened their lead in the second period with a goal by Seleznyov in the 54th minute.
The second leg between Ukraine and Slovenia will be played on Tuesday November 17, 2015 (kick-off: 20:45) in Maribor.
