Euro 2016 Qualifiers : Sweden held to a 2-2 draw by Denmark but qualifies for 2016 Euro
COPENHAGEN, Nov. 17, 2015 (AMP) — France 2016 (Qualifiers) : Denmark tied 2-2 with Sweden (halftime: 0-1), in the second leg of a qualifying game on Tuesday night at the Parken Stadium in Copenhagen.
The Swedishs started off well by taking the lead thanks to Swedish forward Zlatan Ibrahimovic in the 19th minute. However, even though they were leading 1-0 at half time, and despite Ibrahimovic goal ('76) in the second period, they could not prevent a comeback by Denmark with goals by Yussuf Poulsen ('82) and Jannik Vestergaard ('90).
Sweden, who won the first leg (2-1), secured their ticket to the Euro finals. Denmark is eliminated.Fixtures and Results : Play-offs
