BELFAST, Mar. 24, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Northern Ireland defeated Belarus by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a qualifying game for the 2020 UEFA European Championship on Sunday night at Windsor Park in Belfast.
The result put the Irish top of Group C with 6 points. Belarus is bottom with no points. In their next game, Northern Ireland will meet Estonia at Windsor Park on June 8, while Belarus will face Germany.
