BORISOV, Jun. 11, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Northern Ireland defeated Belarus by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2020 UEFA European Championship on Tuesday night at the Borisov Arena.
The result put the Irish top of Group C with 12 points. Belarus is fourth with no points. In their next game, Northern Ireland will meet second-placed Germany at the Borisov Arena on September 9, while Belarus will face Estonia.
