BELFAST, Sep. 9, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Germany defeated Northern Ireland by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2020 UEFA European Championship on Monday night at Windsor Park in Belfast.
The result put the Germans top of Group C with 12 points. Northern Ireland is second with 12 points. In their next game, Germany will meet Estonia at Windsor Park on October 13, while Northern Ireland will face the Netherlands.
