ROTTERDAM, Oct. 10, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : The Netherlands defeated Northern Ireland by a score of 3-1 (halftime: 0-0), in a qualifying game for the 2020 UEFA European Championship on Thursday night at the De Kuip in Rotterdam.
The result put the Dutch top of Group C with 12 points. Northern Ireland is third with 12 points. In their next game, the Netherlands will meet Belarus at the De Kuip on October 13, while Northern Ireland will face the Netherlands.
