DUBLIN, Jun. 10, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Ireland defeated Gibraltar by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro group stage game on Monday night at the Aviva Stadium in Dublin.
The result put the Irish top of Group D with 10 points. Gibraltar is bottom with no points. In their next game, Ireland will meet third-placed Switzerland at the Aviva Stadium on September 5, while Gibraltar will face Denmark.
