GENEVA, Oct. 15, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Switzerland defeated Ireland by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro group stage game on Tuesday night at the Stade de Genève.
The result put the Irish second in Group D with 12 points. Switzerland is third with 11 points. In their last game, Ireland will meet group leaders Denmark at the Stade de Genève on November 18, while Switzerland will face Georgia.
