ZAGREB, Mar. 21, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Croatia defeated Azerbaijan by a score of 2-1 (halftime: 1-1), in a Euro group stage game on Thursday night at the Maksimir Stadium in Zagreb.
The result put the Croatians second in Group E with 3 points. In their next game, Croatia will meet Hungary at the Maksimir Stadium on March 24, while Azerbaijan will face Hungary.
