TóRSHAVN, Oct. 15, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : The Faroe islands defeated Malta by a score of 1-0 (halftime: 0-0), in a Euro group stage game on Tuesday night at the Torsvollur Stadium in Tórshavn.
The result put the Maltese 5th in Group F with 3 points. The Faroe islands is bottom with 3 points. In their next game, Malta will meet group leaders Spain at the Torsvollur Stadium on November 15, while the Faroe islands will face Norway.
