LJUBLJANA, Sep. 6, 2019 (AMP) — Europe 2020 (Qualifiers) : Slovenia defeated Poland by a score of 2-0 (halftime: 1-0), in a Euro group stage game on Friday night at the Stozice Stadium in Ljubljana.
The result put the Pole top of Group G with 12 points. Slovenia is third with 8 points. In their next game, Poland will meet second-placed Austria at the Stozice Stadium on September 9, while Slovenia will face Israel.
